The Dam Flask Relays are organised by Sheffield Running Club and incorporate the South Yorkshire Road Relay Championships.  Taking place on a Tuesday night in late June, it's an open road relay race for all England Athletics affiliated clubs.  The race takes place around Dam Flask reservoir, Low Bradfield on a 3.5 mile circular road route starting and finishing near the cricket ground.  Men's (4 legs) and women's (3 legs) team in seniors, F35, F45, F55, M40, M50 and M60 categories make up the field.  You start your leg when your last runner finishes, handing over the baton.  The men's race starts at 7pm with the ladies setting off at 7:05pm.

As a club, we like to enter as many teams as possible into this event.  It makes for a great social occasion and the distance of 3.5 miles means runners of all abilities can and should take part.  The club cover the cost of entry for the teams. all you need to do is make yourself available on the night. 

These really are for everyone of all abilities and real team spirit events.
