How it works

Every year Kimberworth Striders organise a ‘Club Championship’, open to all first claim Striders members.

A reminder of how this competition works.

A selection of races spread across our membership season (April - March) are chosen, covering a range of distances and terrain.

There are 4 divisions - Premier League, Championship, League 1, League 2. Every member is allocated into a division based on ability.

The first runner home in each division will be awarded 20 points, 19 for second, 18 for third, and so on. Only your best 8 finishes will count, even if you run all of the nominated races.

So, it’s not always about chasing the big crowds. Sometimes the quiet ones are where the magic (and points) happen.

At the end of the season, prizes will be awarded to the top 3 runners in each division at our annual presentation evening.
